Title : IRAQ: TWO YEARS LATER THE CHRONICLE OF A TRAGEDY
Subject : IRAQ - AFGHANISTAN

The 11 year-old son of Aida Al Ansari was killed in a bombing. Sue Niederer's son is one of the 1500 American soldiers killed in Iraq. The horror of the war portrayed through the parallel stories of two women, and the political dead-end that the USA has reached: Ahmed Chalabi who was placed in Saddam Hussein's position by US troops, was a major deceiver, involved – amongst others – in the scandal of the Greek cruise ship "Nisyros". He was replaced with "given" Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, who had participated in a series of terrorist acts. But Allawi was defeated in the recent elections by the pro-Iranian Shiite coalition and the Kurdish parties that dream of an independent Kurdistan...

The state of the military isn't much better. The American troops cannot even control the freeway that connects Baghdad with the city airport. Revelational videos show the violent methods with which American soldiers treat Iraqi citizens, who are considered guilty en masse. The recent attack in Fallujah, recorded by a doctor with his camera, transformed the "city of the mosques" into a ghost city: the residents of Fallujah live in refugee camps and only return to the city in order to burry their dead relatives.

At the same time in the US, the families of American soldiers speak out and the first war veterans expose the horror of this dirty war at the camera.
