Title : CHICAGO'S FOUR INNOCENTS
Subject : DEATH PENALTY

Through a series of attestations and interviews with the protagonists of the case, Reportage Without Frontiers reconstructs the story of the Chicago four, that led to the freeze of executions in the state of Illinois.

This is the story of four young black men, who, despite the fact that they were innocent, were charged with the rape and murder of two young white girls. Two of the accused, were given the death penalty, but in 1996 they were all freed after having spent 18 years in prison, thanks to the research done by three law-students who looked thoroughly into the case and managed to find the true culprits.
