In 1993 cell-phone production companies assigned Dr. George Carlo to conduct a research on the effects of cell phones on human health. The 28 million dolars research was financed by the companies and lasted six years. The results Dr. Carlo came up with were very alarming: Dr. Carlo discovered that radiation transmitted from the cell phones deeply affects human DNA and can even cause brain cancer and other severe diseases. The companies did their best to keep the research secret and "doubted the findings, the doctors and myself as chief of the program", Carlo confesses.
The documentary explores how mankind was turned into a huge guinea pig in the 20th century and includes interviews with European environment Commissioner Margot Wallstrom, European Parliament member Graham Watson and important findings on the way chemicals, pcb, dioxines and radiation affect human health.
